The PlayStation Classic is mere days away, as the mini version of the console is releasing on December 3, and to prepare us for its imminent arrival Sony has published an FAQ on the PlayStation Blog giving us a few more details on what we can expect.
While including the full list of games and physical specs, we also get some clarification on controllers, since PS Classic controllers are the only ones that will work with this machine. Also, with games that have multiple discs (like Final Fantasy VII), "when you reach the end of a "disc," press the "Open" button on the PlayStation Classic console to transition to the next virtual disc."
Each title can also have up to 15 virtual memory card spaces too, although System Link doesn't work with this new model. We also get confirmation that you can't connect this to PSN, nor can you buy extra games for the console.
What we all want to know is whether the iconic startup sound will play though, right? Well, there's good news here, as that's certainly the case, and if you're really into the genuine experience take a look at the model and UI down below.
Is this console landing on your doorstep?
