A weird bug is affecting Fallout 76 right now by the sounds of it. As reported by a Reddit user called Brogadyn, as soon as his character reached level 40, they became immortal, for better and for worse. As told by Brogadyn himself:
"She can even eat a nuke blast to the face and be fine. There is literally zero ways that she can die even if I wanted her to (which I very much do at this point)."
It seems Brogadyn has tried all manner of ways to kill his avatar, even going so far as to drown them, but apparently, his character has entered a sort of "God Mode".
Tired of this situation, Brogadyn even contacted Bethesda customer support which offered a rather vague response, asking the player to check the status effects currently active on the character. Of course, that's not the problem and poor Brogadyn has not solved the issue as yet.
If and how Bethesda will fix that situation remains to be seen but it could well be a problem that affects other players further down the line.
