Fallout 76 landed last week, and the reception to Bethesda's newest post-apocalyptic adventure hasn't been the warmest. In fact, in some cases, it has been quite the opposite, as this video clip seems to suggest.
In the linked video we can see a man looking for a refund for a purchase he clearly regrets. While Fallout 76 isn't mentioned directly in the clip, the guy who filmed the exchange claims that it was indeed Bethesda's online RPG that caused the ruckus. The store clerk tried to explain the situation, but obviously not the satisfaction of the disgruntled customer, who after a moment of no doubt deep contemplation, stormed around the shop smashing things up.
Fair play to Brian, the store clerk who keeps his cool while the customer in question has a good go at trashing the store during his tantrum. According to Brian, the North Carolina-based Gamestop has a clear returns policy, but the customer in question was clearly not pleased with the terms and conditions and decided to take out his frustrations on a couple of displays.
Moral of the story? Well, you can always read the terms and conditions found on your receipt before heading into the store. Alternatively, read a few reviews before you stump up your hard earned cash on a game. Also, be nice to people who work in retail - good manners cost nothing.
