We still await news on when the third and penultimate episode of The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be released following the demise of Telltale Games and the subsequent rescue by Skybound Entertainment. The latter has issued a statement where it says we'll soon get the release dates for the two remaining episodes. Following a bunch of red tape, development has now been resumed.
"It's been a ton of work logistically and legally to get us to a place where we're able to roll up our sleeves and get to the actual work. After Telltale shut its doors, the game was, unfortunately, unable to be worked on and hence the release dates of Episodes 3 and 4 have been delayed. But, we're excited to let you know that many of the talented, passionate team members who originally worked on the game are resuming development efforts today!"
Furthermore, you may have noticed that previous seasons of The Walking Dead are no longer available for purchase in some places (like Steam), but that's only a transitional glitch and they will soon be back.
Are you excited to see the end of the final season soon?
