Inxile Entertainment's Torment: Tides of Numenera had a strong finish last night as it reached $4,188,927 from 74,405 backers on Kickstarter - add in the PayPal donations and it easily surpassed the $4.25 million stretch goal that included "longer story, voluminous codex, and crafting Numenera" - you can still contribute to the game through PayPal on the official website - although it is currently unclear whether that will count towards the next stretch goal that included the much wanted player Stronghold feature.
Inxile Entertainment recently stated that Torment: Tides of Numenera won't be released until early 2015, but fans didn't seem too upset about that. Obsidian Entertainment's Project Eternity achieved $3,986,929 when it was successfully funded back in October.
