The X018 event from Microsoft gave us a lot of different news about the console and the games you can play on it, but during the show we also got the news that support for mouse and keyboard will arrive next week, with select titles enabled at launch for Insiders, and more planned.
Inside Xbox sees Epic detail how Fortnite is one of the first titles to support this, but players can also expect Warframe too, with Bomber Crew, War Thunder, and X-Morph Defence adding support this month. DayZ, Children of Morta, Warface, and more are adding support too in the future.
When the update launches next week developers will have the tools to create tailored experiences for these controls. Xbox has even revealed Designed for Xbox mice and keyboards, created for living rooms and desktops and featuring a dedicated Xbox key as well as Xbox Dynamic Lighting, enabling immersive in-game lighting.
Razer is the exclusive partner to ship the Designed for Xbox mouse and keyboard, and will formally introduce this at CES in January.
Are you pleased to finally see Mouse and Keyboard support on Xbox One?
