As part of the X018 event in Mexico City, Microsoft revealed a long list of games coming to the Xbox Game Pass, as the platform holder looks to add even more value to its subscription service.
The headline game is undoubtedly PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, which will be available to all paying Game Pass members in just a couple of days, on November 12. Later in the month Agents of Mayhem, MXGP3 and Thomas Was Alone will land on November 22. Thereafter, in the month of December games including Ori and the Blind Forest, Kingdom Two Crowns and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice will follow suit.
Also landing ahead of Xmas is the promising tactical adventure game, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden, which headlines a selection of indie games launching directly onto the Game Pass (including the likes of Aftercharge, Pathologic 2, The Good Life, Void Bastards, Secret Neighbor, and Supermarket Shriek). Ori and the Will of the Wisps is also set to land the service on day one, so subscribers can look forward to playing this stunning-looking sequel when it launches next year.
Microsoft also unveiled a new Game Pass app for iOS and Android devices, which is available today and lets players browse the games on the service and download them to your console remotely. As well as highlighting recent releases, the platform holder is also trying to tempt players in with a $1 introductory month (up until January 3), an offer which we assume will extend beyond the confines of North America.
