The big news of the day: Fast & Furios: Showdown has been given a release date. Only joking, that dubious honour should probably go to Micrsoft Creative Direct Adam Orth, who stirred up some unrest after taking to Twitter and joking to a friend that people unhappy with the propsect of an "always-on" next-gen Xbox should simply "deal with it". Needless to say, his comment didn't go down too well.
Details have leaked surrounding the mysterious Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon. Is it a plane? Is it a bird? In truth we just don't know.
HMV has officially been rescued. I'm sure there's going to be a fair few staff members out celebrating this weekend.
There's loads of details surrounding Uprising, the latest DLC for Black Ops 2.
Epic Games has been talking up Fortnite, they think it's very good.
There's a lovely competition on the site today. If you're a Ninja Gaiden fan you'd do well to check it out.
Beyond all that news we've got some other fantastic content to keep you occupied this evening. We talk to writer Dmitry Glukhovsky about Metro: Last Light.
And there's two reviews that landed today. We take a look at the underwhelming Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, and our reviewer has (psychotic) kittens over BattleBlock Theater.
Have a good weekend.
