Not long after PUBG for PS4 was seen over on the Korean ratings board, the PlayStation 4 version of the game has been spotted once again. By the looks of it, one user over on PSN Profiles found content ID codes for the game (both EU and NA) - the kind of details that are created for a game as it prepares for an appearance on the PlayStation Store. Apparently, a couple of promo images were also found (including the one added below).
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds landed on Xbox on December 12, so the smart money is on that release being a year-long timed-exclusive for Microsoft's console. It would also explain the radio silence on the part of the developers, as these kinds of deals often prohibit publicising the game on a rival platform.
If and when PUBG does make it over to Sony's console, it's not clear which version of the game will release. When the battle royale shooter landed on Xbox One it did so in an unfinished state via the Preview Program. Will a potential PS4 version be 1.0 (or later) or will the unannounced game land in beta in much the same way that Fortnite did before it? With December looming, time will tell.
