There's plenty of games launching this week so we'll waste no time on a preamble.

Moonlighter lands today on Nintendo Switch, but things pick up properly tomorrow with ARK: Extinction (PC, PS4, Xbox One) hitting on November 6 alongside the likes of GRIP (PC, PS4, Xbox One, Switch) and Overkill's The Walking Dead (the console version of which will land on the 8th in the EU). It's also a good day for PSVR owners with Transpose (Rift and Vive too), Deracine and SYREN all dropping.

World of Final Fantasy Maxima and The Shapeshifting Detective (both PC, PS4, Switch, Xbox One) are probably the last sizeable cross-platform release to tell you about, but Swords and Soldiers 2 Shawarmageddon (PC, PS4) and Brawlhalla (Xbox One, Switch) both land on the 6th too. Finally, there's Omen of Sorrow and The Forest (both PS4), Carnival Games (Switch), and the eye-rolling delights of PC game Leisure Suit Larry - Wet Dreams Don't Dry.

The next day we've got HellSign hitting Steam Early Access, nautical adventure Kursk (PC, PS4, Xbox One), Holy Potatoes! A Spy Story?! (PC), and Steel Rats (PC, PS4, Xbox One) all joining the party.

November 8 sees the release of several Switch games as that platform's library continues to swell. Valiant Hearts headlines, but expect to see Crashlands, The Bug Butcher, Mercenaries Wings: The False Phoenix, Rage in Peace (also on PC), and Battlezone Gold Edition all set up shop on Nintendo's platform. Total War: Warhammer II expansion Curse of the Vampire Coast lands on PC along with Don't Starve: Hamlet (although the latter is an Early Access release while the former is not).

Then we've got the return of an all-time classic on November 9 in the form of Tetris Effect (PS4, PSVR), lovely puzzle-platformer Forgotton Anne is hitting the Switch, as is Anno Domini 2018: Townsmen. Then come the big hitters. First we've got poignant war drama 11-11: Memories Retold (PC, PS4, Xbox One), then Hitman 2 will be made available to Gold and Collector's Edition early birds. And speaking of early birds, paid up members of EA's Origin Access Premier will be able to check out Battlefield V a full 11 days before its full launch.
