Yesterday we got to take a first look at Henry Cavill as Geralt of Rivia in the upcoming Netflix series. This led to some criticism as many thought he looks a touch too young and maybe even not rugged enough to play the monster hunting witcher, while others claim he looks more like Orlando Bloom's interpretation of Legolas, or even Christopher Lambert as Raiden in the first Mortal Kombat movie.

Now it has been revealed who will play the roles of Triss, Dandelion (Jaskier) and Cahir. Anna Shaffer (Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows) will play the witch, Joey Batey (Knightfall) plays the bard, and Eamon Farren - who was a psychotic murderer in Twin Peaks: The Return - is the Nilfgaard-officer Cahir.

It has also been revealed that Lars Mikkelsen (House of Cards) will play Stregobor; Royce Pierreson (Wanderlust) plays Istredd; the Polish actor Maciej Musiat plays Sir Lazlo; Wilson Radjou-Pujalte (Hunter Street) plays Dara; Rebecca Benson (Game of Thrones) plays Marilka; Shane Atwoll (Legend) plays Nohorn; Luke Neal (The Last Jedi) plays Vyr; Matthew Neal (The Holly Kane Experiment) plays Nimir; Tobi Bamtefa (Tin Star) plays Danek; Sonny Serkis (Child 44 ) plays Martin; Roderick Hill (Run All Night) plays Fletcher; Inge Beckman (Troy: Fall of a City) plays Aridea; Charlotte O'Leary (Hush) plays Tiffania; Natasha Culzac (upcoming Men in Black) plays Toruviel; Amit Shah (The Hundred-Foot Journey) plays Torque and finally Tom Canton (The Good Karma Hospital) plays Filavandrel. Pictures of all these actors can be found on this link.

It had been confirmed earlier that Freya Allan (the upcoming War of the Worlds) is going to play Ciri, Anya Chalotra (Wanderlust) plays Yennefer, Jodhi May play Calanthe, Björn Hlynur Haraldsson plays Eist, Adam Levy plays Mousesack, MyAnna Buring plays Tissaia, Mimi Ndiweni plays Fringilla, Therica Wilson-Read plays Sabrina, and Millie Brady is the princess Renfri.
