Hideo Kojima has been visiting plenty of studios since he left Konami. Most of them tied to Sony, who are funding development on Death Stranding, but not all of them. Yesterday he paid Valve a visit and met founder Gabe Newell, something he posted pictures from on Twitter and wrote: "Visited VALVE. Took pic with Gabe."
Exactly why Kojima visited Valve is unknown, although the easy thing to suspect is that he wants to release games on Steam. That is pure speculation though as he could also just be looking for inspiration as he has been when visiting other developers. In the meantime, let's enjoy the fact that Kojima and Newell combined are holding up three fingers and thus confirming the imminent announcement of Half-Life 3. That has to be it, right?
