Pachter thinks Red Dead 2 will hit PC and next-gen

The industry analyst predicts generational overlap.

The first Red Dead Redemption never launched for PC and Red Dead Redemption 2 hasn't been announced for PC either. But this doesn't mean that it won't come to the platform and according to several sources, it is going to happen. One person who firmly believes this is the analyst Michael Pachter, who says in an interview with GamingBolt:

"PC for sure, most likely by April. I'm not sure why they take so long."

But Pachter doesn't stop there. Just as with Grand Theft Auto V, he expects that an upgraded version of the game will be released at a later point for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Two:

"Next generation consoles are likely as well, whenever those come out."

While Grand Theft Auto V has tremendous legs sales-wise, one of the things that has helped is the three releases of the game (PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, later PC and finally Playstation 4 and Xbox One). If Pachter is right, we could be looking at a similar strategy for Red Dead Redemption 2.
