From "a fairly solid source".

If video game journalist Ryan Brown (Daily Mirror, BBC) is to be believed, we are not too far away from a Little Big Planet announcement of some sorts. He revealed this on Twitter where he wrote:

"I have a fairly solid source on a new LittleBigPlanet game announcement coming on November 2.

Don't quote me on that though. Unless it turns out I'm right, then totally quote me on it."

Sorry, Ryan. You've been quoted. As Media Molecule continues to work on Dreams, it would likely be a different team doing the game this time as was the case with Little Big Planet 3 (2014), developed by Sumo Digital. We know they have several projects in the pipeline right now (Crackdown 3, Team Sonic Racing and Dead Island 2), but Sumo Digital is a big studio and they could certainly have a team working on Little Big Planet 4 as well. Another potential developer would be Tarsier Studios who were responsible for Little Big Planet on PS Vita, and who more recently put out Statik (PSVR) and Little Nightmares, with no news of their next game it's possible they've been given the nod.

What would you like to see next from the Little Big Planet series?
