Cryptic Studios are about to unleash the upcoming MMORPG Neverwinter into open beta starting on April 30. The game that originally started out life as a co-operative action-RPG back when Atari owned Cryptic is now a fully fledged free-to-play MMORPG.
One piece of good news is that the open beta means the end of character wipes and limited access - so essentially the full game will be available to players (even if Cryptic will tweak things and add content until they feel confident enough to drop the beta tag).
