One of our strangest experiences at PAX East in Boston the other week was trying SteLuLu Technologies "Stinky the gaming footboard" - a device designed not to replace your mouse and keyboard, but to be aside along with the former. Basically you can quick map four keys to the four directions on the footboard, allowing for even quicker reactions (when you've gotten used to it that is).
SteLuLu have now launched a campaign for the game on Kickstarter where they are looking for 75,000 USD. A day into the campaign and 12,000 USD have been sourced. A pledge of 89 USD will score you a footboard (45 USD shipping if you're living in Europe).
Now, hopefully you will be wearing socks while using this piece of technology to prevent it from living up to its name.
