Bioshock Infinite, an early contender for GotY, has risen straight to the top of the pile and has finished top of the UK's multi-format sales charts.
It's worth noting that the biggest release of the year remains Crystal Dynamic's Lara Croft reboot, though Infinite has the biggest week one sales for any Bioshock title to date (it sold almost 9,000 copies more than Bioshock 2).
Tomb Raider continues its strong push at retail thanks to some price promotions and remains in second after a 45% increase in sales, whilst last week's best selling game - Gears of War: Judgment - drops down to third.
FIFA 13 is still in a Champions League place (that's fourth to non-football fans), and is followed by a couple of debuting titles. Luigi's Mansion 2 grabs fifth, and Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel only manages sixth place in this week's chart.
Two more new releases made the top twenty. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 landed in (insert golf pun here) eighth, and the Wii U exclusive Lego City Undercover finished up as the twelfth best selling game of last week. Sly Cooper: Thieves in Time could only manage thirty-first.
