The camera will "see through" the screen.

The smartphone development has moved towards more and more screen on newer models, and thus less and less space dedicated to bezels, speakers, camera, home-buttons and stuff like that. Since iPhone X was released, Apple has been number one freeing up more areas at the top and very minor bezels.

Now it seems like Samsung wants to lead the way again, and according to a new leak (via Forbes) they have now basically won this race by making S10 the first phone with everything from camera to finger-print reader, speakers and stuff like that integrated in the screen with no bezels at all.

The screen will also offer haptic feedback to make it feel like there are buttons on the screen to make them easier to press with fewer mistakes. The sound will come from a technique called Sound on Display which basically means the whole screen works as a speaker, and the camera uses Under Panel Sensors and can see through the screen when taking pictures.

A smartphone is by far the most common way to play video games nowadays, and it remains to be seen if and how the haptic feedback and these new cool features will be used for gaming. What do you think of Samsung Galaxy S10 judging by this leak and what do you think will become the next trend for smartphones when the whole front is screen now and there's really no way to increase it except making the phone bigger?
