If you're into retro games, chances are you're already familiar with Analogue, a company that has released both the Mini Nt and Super Nt, the former of which plays all NES games and the latter all Super Nintendo games. Now they're at it again with the announcement of Mega Sg, a console that runs all Mega Drive games regardless of region.
You can actually even play your Master System titles and hook up your Mega-CD to it as well, but the only thing that won't work is the 32X, although there will be adapters sold for it that makes it possible to play Game Gear and other less-known Sega games. Mega Sg uses hardware emulation rather than software emulation, which makes it easier to come extremely close to the real deal, and it's all easy to hook up since it connects to the TV via HDMI.
8BitDo makes the controllers for the Mega Sg, which are the wireless M30 model with rechargeable battery. They're available in black and white, while the console will come in four colour variations (three black with details based on either the European and Japanese Mega Drives, the American Sega Genesis, and a white one).
Mega Sg launches in April for $189 USD and you can already pre-order your console to make sure you get yours as fast as humanly possible. You can look at the pictures down below while you wait though, which should get the hype building.
