Jagex has just announced that Ace of Spades players are to treated to a free Easter Content Pack, consisting of six new playable maps, a new game mode, and a variety of other minor gameplay tweaks.
The descriptions of the six maps and the new Occupation mode are as follows:
The Colosseum - The glorious arena of ancient Rome, as voted for by the community
The Great Wall - Inspired by the Great Wall itself. It didn't win the community vote, but we thought we'd release it anyway ;-)
Atlantis - The legendary island will challenge you with its high walkways, towering statues and impressive centrepiece
Frontier - With a Wild West feel, and multiple gold mining areas, Frontier will be a welcome addition for all you gunslingers out there
Invasion - An Epic battle setting, invaders landing on the beaches in Longships, a mighty fort, a variation of terrain that provides multiple strategic options, what's not to love?
Classic - A map designed for Classic CTF based on the old school ClassicGen Map. A simplistic rolling hills map that lends itself to a creative and strategic Classic CTF experience.
‘Occupation', which will pit an assault team, whose objective is to take out a high value target, against a defence team whose top priority is to safely dispose of the bomb before it reaches the target.
The update also includes a host of new features and fixes:

• Improved scoring system
• Laser Sights for the Sniper Rifle
• New crate design
• New health bars
• HUD updates
• New epic skyboxes
• New vote map function
• AFK/idle kick function added
• New on screen gameplay feedback messages
