We've known for a while that Disney is making a Star Wars TV series for their streaming service Disney Play, and now Jon Favreau has posted on Instagram to not only confirm that he's creating it, but also to provide the following synopsis:

"After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. The Mandalorian is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic."

The title refers to Boba Fett's race from the planet Mandalore, and while we don't know when this series is coming, we do know that it'll take place in between episodes 6 and 7. What do you want to see from this series?
