When you think of the gaming franchises that have had film adaptations, a lot of them make sense, like Doom featuring Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson for example, but perhaps Dance Dance Revolution doesn't spring to mind when thinking about what other games would make good films. Well, regardless, that's what we're getting.
Deadline reports that Greg Silverman's Stampede is producing the film, with Cara Fano announced as the Director of Development, and the plot will revolve around dancing saving the world from destruction.
Stampede will work with J. Todd Harris and Marc Marcum from Branded Pictures Entertainment as producers, as well as with Konami as IP owner, and we're certainly interested to see how dancing can save the world from destruction. Are you?
