Esports organisation Team Envy has revealed that they've signed a brand new CS:GO competition based around North American players, following on from the European team that they released earlier this summer.
The team is comprised of Taylor 'Drone' Johnson; Josh 'jdm64' Marzano; Noah 'Nifty' Francis; Steven 'relutC' Cutler; and Kory 'Semphis' Friesen, all of which have experience in CS:GO already. Nifty, for example, comes from Renegades, while Drone, relutC, and Semphis have played for Splyce.
"We're excited to bring a talented roster of Counter-Strike players together to write the next chapter in Envy CS:GO history," said Mike Rufail, owner and CEO at Envy Gaming. "Our priority was to sign a roster that would compete at the highest level and give our loyal fans a team to cheer on."
How well can this roster perform?
