There's a text adventure hidden in Google Chrome

Would you like to play a game?

We love a good Easter egg here at Gamereactor, and this latest one is rather fun. It turns out that searching Google.com (and it has to be .com, not a local variant) for "text adventure" and then opening the javascript console (CTRL+SHIFT+J on Windows 10 PC and Cmd + Option + J on Mac) prompts a question:

Would you like to play a game? (yes/no)

Answer with an affirmative and you'll jump into a narrative adventure which sounds like it's set around the Google offices in Charleston. The game itself seems quite straightforward so don't expect to work the old grey matter too hard, but they do have some fun with a bit of descriptive text and some basic navigational tools and controls.

This post on Reddit seems to be the first sighting of the game, and it's not clear how long this quirky little Easter egg has been hidden in plain sight.
