If you want to buy Nintendo's hybrid console, the Switch, you will not be able to order it via Amazon France. The French version of the giant online retailer no longer receives shipments from Nintendo. Allegedly, a result of Nintendo being annoyed with Amazon's pricing, that undercuts the competition by a decent margin.

While prices for Nintendo Switch are largely the same at various retailers, Amazon had certain hardware bundles at around 270 Euros, whereas they retailed for more than 300 Euros elsewhere. Contacted by IGN France, Amazon says "they cannot communicate about this". Nintendo refused to offer any comment.

Clearly, Nintendo has put their foot down, but it remains to be seen how long this boycott will last.
