Non-profit games publisher OneBigGame and Game Music Initiative have banded together to make a music album for charity, called OneBigAlbum. It will include music from a list of prominent game music composers, and the surplus from its sales will go to Save the Children and Starlight Children's Foundation.
There's no release date available yet, but the following composers will be featured on OneBigAlbum:

- Allister Brimble (Alien Breed, Rollercoaster Tycoon, Hydroventure/Fluidity)
- Marc Canham (Far Cry 2, Driver II-IV, Split Second)
- Andrew Curnock (Escape Vektor, Pop, Avatar: The Last Airbender)
- Jason Graves (Dead Space Series, Command & Conquer IV: Tiberian Twilight, Prey 2)
- James Hannigan (Harry Potter series, Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3, Evil Genius)
- Akari Kaida (Breath of Fire III, Megaman BN series, Onimusha 3: Demon Siege)
- Frank Klepacki (Command & Conquer series, Blade Runner, Universe at War)
- Masaya Matsuura (Parappa the Rapper, Vib-Ribbon, WINtA)
- Peter McConnell (Psychonauts, Grim Fandango, Brütal Legend)

We've also recieved word from Grasshopper Interactive that they are doing something similar - composer Akira Yamaoka (probably best known for his work on Silent Hill) and Play for Japan will release an album on the iTunes music store in May, gathering money for survivors of the terrible earthquake that hit Japan a few weeks ago.
