SOE makes massive cuts

The rumours surrounding Sony Online Entertainment and their long-time project The Agency have been ominous lately. Some might say the writing has been on the wall and the company has now officially confirmed that the development of The Agency has been halted. One third of the staff have been given pink slips (205 in total), and the cuts result in the closure of SOE's facilities in Denver, Seattle and Tucson.

The pictures below are the last batch of assets to come out of The Agency (released at E3 last year). Sony Online Entertainment claim that these moves are made in order to focus their attention on the upcoming sequels to EverQuest and Planetside, while not compromising live products such as Free Realms and DC Universe Online.
