Back in 2015 Sony said they don't see a market for a new generation of handheld consoles, and it seems like we have more confirmation that they feel the same, as next year production of the PS Vita will officially cease in Japan, as revealed by Sony Interactive Entertainment Asia's president Hiroyuki Oda.

Oda also says there are no plans for a portable future within Sony, and with North America and Europe also putting the nail in the Vita coffin, it seems like all is said and done for this piece of hardware, despite having some stellar games along the way.

What are your best memories of the PS Vita?
