Back at E3 Microsoft announced that they are working on a streaming service for games, with rumours circulating that they might even release a console specifically dedicated to streamed games, but now AMD has confirmed that they have partnered with Microsoft when it comes to the future of cloud-based gaming in an interview that CEO Dr. Lisa Su had with CNBC.

"We're partnered with them in game consoles. I think we have a vision of where cloud computing is going and we're working closely with them," she explained.

She continues by saying that this is high-tech stuff and that they're trying to predict the future in their work:

"I really think the interesting thing about semiconductors is we're making decisions now that you won't see the outcome for 3, 4, 5 years. I love the fact we're trying to predict the future and hopefully we make some good decisions.

AMD is also working with Microsoft (and Sony) on their next upcoming consoles, so it seems like we are going to see a lot of AMD in the lovely world of gaming. How interested would you be in a console that streams games?

Thanks PCGamesN.
