Mages of Mystralia, an action-adventure developed by the Montreal-based indie studio Borealys Games, which was released for PC on May 18, 2017 (and a little later on PS4 and Xbox One), is coming to Nintendo Switch, according to NintendoEverything.
The game is written by Ed Greenwood, a Canadian fantasy author who created the world of Forgotten Realms, and is about a young girl named Zia, who discovers she has magical abilities. Unfortunately for her, magic has been banned, so she has to learn how to control her powers on her own.
The game features a deep and complex spell crafting system where spells, powers, and runes can be used in all sorts of combinations, intuitive and engaging monster slaying, and challenging puzzle solving.
A release date on the Nintendo Switch has not yet been confirmed, but the version "is progressing well".
