In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Weekly Famitsu (via Gematsu) we learn that a slew of new Sega classics are on their way to Nintendo Switch, via Sega Ages, which is basically a Virtual Console service from Sega.
The new games that have been planned for Sega Ages are:
Space Harrier
Columns II
Sonic the Hedgehog 2
Outrun
Thunder Force AC
Columns II will feature online battles, and Outrun will have additional music. Other games previously planned for Sega Ages include Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force IV, Alex Kidd in Miracle World, Gain Ground and Phantasy Star.
According to NintendoEverything Sega Ages will be launching on Switch this month, and Sonic the Hedgehog, Thunder Force, and Phantasy Star should hit the console by the end of the month.
Exact release dates, and if the games will be released in all regions, is currently unknown. Which of these games would you like to see in an eShop near you?
