It may take the US tax authorities a bit of time, but once they're on to you, they take you for all you've got. Or more. Just ask Trip Hawkins, founder of Electronic Arts and 3DO. When he sold his EA stock back in the early 90's he never paid taxes on his winnings. And according to Forbes he won't be able to "bankrupt" his way out of paying what he owes. Hawkins' money burned with the ill-fated 3DO and it looks like he needs to come up with some great money making ideas to pay his way out of his $20-25 million debts.

"I'm hurting on the inside!"
