Drone racing simulator Liftoff has spent the better part of three years in Steam Early Access but is finally ready for its full launch on September 13. The game that allows for an experience very close to the real-world drone racing, and even has support for most controllers used in the sport itself (so you can train on the controls without having to pay for costly drone repairs), it also offers tremendous amounts of customisation options.
Via press release Belgian developer LuGus Studios co-founder, Kevin Haelterman, had this to say:
"The drone racing community is filled with creative minds and budding engineers and it's the passion of this community that has helped us shape Liftoff throughout Early Access. Through the support of the community, their feedback has fuelled our attention to detail and allowed us to make Liftoff the definitive drone racing experience, offering players the most true to life experience possible. Even though we're excited to launch out of Early Access, we will continue refining and supporting Liftoff long into the future ."
