After the rumours that have circulated in recent days, Xbox All Access is now official. Through a post published on Microsoft's Official Store in the US, the company has unveiled the details surrounding a new subscription plan that, via monthly payments, allows you to buy an Xbox One (S or X, with different prices) along with some ancillary services such as Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass.

At the price of $34.99 per month, players can purchase an Xbox One X plus a two-year subscription to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass. Alternatively, you can purchase an Xbox One S and a two-year subscription to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass for $21.99 per month. At the end of the two-year contract, players will own the Xbox One console.

As specified in the post, the offer will be subject to time limitations and only for selected users. Moreover, at the moment this service is limited to the United States and it remains to be seen if the company decides to expand the scope of the initiative in the near future, maybe even looking to Europe.

The move by MS is yet another elaboration of the company's plan to remove the hard barriers between console generations. Now, with a similar setup to the one used by Apple for its handheld devices, players will be able to make a monthly payment and get the latest hardware, complete with a robust range of titles via the Game Pass.

Would a similar subscription service incentivise you to buy an Xbox One?
