This week is Gamescom, and you know what that means. Yes, we're going to see new trailers, big announcements, and tons of exciting stuff, but that doesn't mean that games are on hold elsewhere, as plenty of releases are coming this week to keep people entertained while they're not keeping their eyes on Cologne, and here's a few to watch out for.
August 21 - Shenmue I & II return today in remastered form, meaning PC, PS4, and Xbox One players get try it either once again or for the first time, but Guacamelee 2 is also quite literally wrestling for attention today as well, sharing a release date. Speaking of Guacamelee, another rough and tumble game is coming too, as Brawlout is hitting PS4 and Xbox One today. If prison escaping is more your style though, you'll be pleased to hear The Escapists 2 is getting the Glorious Regime prison today as well.
August 22 - Tomorrow we're getting a rather unique game in the form of Track Lab, as this VR game lets you create music by placing blocks onto a grid, making loops and beats as a small introduction to music production.
August 23 - On Thursday console players also get their hands on Warhammer 40k: Inquisitor - Martyr, so if you don't want to DJ you can always take to the grim universe of Warhammer 40k instead.
August 24 - At the end of the week Xbox One fans can also expect Planet of the Apes: Last Frontier, and F1 enthusiasts can finally get in the driver's seat with F1 2018 too, rounding off a rather mixed bag of releases.
