Valve has added an Early Access section to their digital distribution site - Steam - allowing gamers the chance to jump into early builds of anticipated games.

The aim of the new service is to give fans access to game as they're in development, offering unique insights into the way titles are created, and to allow a more fluid feedback system for designers. Developers will also be able to easily update games, meaning kinks can be ironed out quickly and they can iterate in response to public feedback.

There are twelve titles in the initial line-up, with more to follow as and when they're added. Here's the list, incase you want to get involved:

1... 2... 3... KICK IT! (Drop That Beat Like an Ugly Baby)
Arma III
Drunken Robot Pornography
Gear Up
Gnomoria
Kenshi
Kerbal Space Program
Kinetic Void
Patterns
Prison Architect
StarForge
Under the Ocean

Prison Architect from Introversion is one of the pioneering titles.
