After taking over during the development of Final Fantasy XV, game director Hajime Tabata is now preparing to face a fresh challenge with a brand new project, which is in fact a new intellectual property. This has come to us via ResetEra user DarkDetective, who has lived up to the name by unearthing brand new job listings for the studio Luminous Productions.
Apparently this new IP is a "high-end AAA console game project"; "a world-class large-scale game that everyone knows about"; and the team is now looking for developers to "investigate, research, and develop core features of a next-generation Luminous Engine". This seems to suggest that the new game could land on next-generation or cross-gen platforms, so we're pretty curious to hear more on what they're working on.
