It's a sad truth that some find it necessary to cheat in video games, but Valve is taking this issue very seriously, to the point that in the last week alone nearly 95,000 accounts have been banned, a giant spike that we can see clearly on SteamDB.
It should be noted that SteamDB's estimates are usually lower than reality, but still it appears that Valve has already banned around 120,000 accounts for cheating this month, while issuing almost half a million game bans.
