The 2000 AD comics are probably best known for Judge Dredd, but another series they have is Rogue Trooper, and we now know that director Duncan Jones (Moon, Warcraft) is working on a film adaptation of the franchise, as Jones himself revealed on Twitter.
If you don't have a clue what Rogue Trooper is, this basically revolves around blue super soldiers who are genetically engineered to be killing machines, and when the friends of protagonist Rogue die, they become biochips he can install onto his equipment. You might want to check out the recent Rogue Trooper Redux game if that sounds particularly interesting.
