A strange piece of news for you this morning. In Los Angeles this weekend there's to be a game jam with the aim of creating games and apps for cats to play with.
The event - Games for Cats Hackathon - is being sponsored by Purina (who make cat food), and they're offering $15,000 for the winning entry, with $3,000 and $2,000 prizes to be handed out to the runners up.
The event was spotted by Gamasutra, and we agree with their assessment that this is probably the first event of its kind.
