Former THQ employee Patrice Désilets has returned to Ubisoft, it has been revealed. The designer of the original Assassin's Creed game has returned to the studio where he made a name for himself, and will continue work on 1666, the project he was working on for THQ before they went bankrupt earlier this year, and that is now owned by Ubisoft.

"We are very pleased to welcome Patrice to Ubisoft again and anticipate that this renewed partnership will produce new ideas and high-quality titles for Ubisoft's customers," a spokesperson from Ubisoft told Polygon.
