Niantic Labs has officially hinted at the arrival of Generation IV in Pokémon Go. The developer published an image on social media celebrating the past two years of the mobile Pokémon game. Between the various Pokémon and characters the three starter Pokémon from Gen IV: Turtwig, Chimchar and Piplup can be spotted.
The coming summer months players will see the release of Celebi (first for Pokémon Go Fest attendees this weekend) and Alolan Pokémon, which suggests that we will see Gen IV Pokémon after this.
