Valve has updated Counter-Strike: Global Offensive which now makes it impossible for Dutch and Belgium players to open loot boxes. The update, however, re-enables the ability to trade items in the game for players from The Netherlands.
Last month Valve removed the option for item trading in CS:GO and Dota 2 to prevent prosecution from the Dutch Gaming Authority. In April the Dutch Gaming Authority declared some loot boxes as gambling, a ruling it started to enforce from June 20th.
