Update: This article originally suggested that Fortnite would be coming to Android in China on July 24. That was a mistake on our part and the article has been edited to reflect that.

Original: Fortnite has been a huge success so far, and we thought it translated rather well onto the small screen when playing it on mobile for our review earlier this year. Epic has made some serious cash since releasing the game as a standalone free-to-play title, and it looks like the game's growing popularity won't be slowing down anytime soon as it's heading to a new territory, China.

Tencent, the company that owns 40% of Epic, has just teased over on Twitter that the battle royale game will be making some sort of appearance in China on July 24. We're not exactly sure what form that release will take, but once we know for sure we'll let you know.

As for the game itself, Season 5 of Fortnite kicked off today, and you can read more about that here.
