Rocksteady is a studio with a great reputation following their trilogy of Batman titles, Arkham City, Arkham Asylum, and Arkham Knight. Since the release of Batman: Arkham VR on PSVR in 2016, news is scarce although we know that a new project is in development, and that it was not ready to be presented during the E3 last month. Many reports and rumours point to a possible Superman title from Rocksteady, but so far there's no official word.

Naturally, fans are keen to learn what Rocksteady is working on, and with Comic-Con coming up next week some might be led to believe an announcement would be made at the event.

To avoid any disillusionment, director and co-founder of the British studio, Jamie Walker, took to Twitter to set the record straight:

"Inb4 people start asking about whether RocksteadyGames will be at SDCC this year: we'd love to be there but won't be ready to talk about our next game for a while yet. You'll know when it's time."

There are a few more notable options for Rocksteady and Warner to reveal the game this year, first up is Gamescom in August, and then there's Paris Games Week (October), and perhaps most likely The Game Awards (December).

Are you excited for what's next from Rocksteady?
