According to a report on MCV, Sony are preparing to launch NGP in Europe this fall. It was previously assumed that the device would only hit Japan late this year with North America and Europe to follow suit in 2012, but perhaps those plans have been altered.
"Sources have told MCV that development deadlines have been set to ensure key Western releases are finished before the end of the summer for deployment in the autumn."
MCV also refers to "online claims" of a launch on November 11. Oh well, we're taking a wait and see approach to this one. Sony have a history of launching late in Europe...
