InXile Entertainment may be on track to a new Kickstarter record with their Torment: Tides of Numenera campaign. The project reached its target of $900,000 in just six hours and currently sits at $1,663,237 less than 24 hours from the start.
They have already reached the first stretch goal "Richer Story" adding writer Mur Lafferty and designer Tony Evans to the writing team as well as a fourth novella (bonus).
Next up at $2 million Monte Cook will also join the writing team, and Mark Morgan will write additional music for the score as well as a fifth player companion - a piece of goo that will transform depending on how you treat it.
