While 4chan is usually a place where most posts regarding the game industry have to be taken with a grain of salt, the site has seen a surprisingly steady stream of E3 reveals and leaks this year. Now it would appear that yet another game has sprung a leak. Either that or it's a fake, which is also a very real possibility.
A short post from an alleged insider on the site has revealed that Rocksteady's new game actually is actually going to be based on the Man of Steel himself, and apparently it's called Superman: World's Finest. The subtitle carries a lot of weight in terms of the character's background because it's the tag team moniker regularly used when Superman and Batman work together. If this turns out to be true, then the Dark Knight himself could well play a key role.
Additionally, the source alleges that the game will be revealed during Microsoft's E3 press conference on Sunday, and it suggests that Brainiac will be the main villain. Additionally, the game is said to be single-player only.
The leaker has shown off what appears to be a screenshot of some marketing materials, but the image quality isn't great and even if it is genuine, it's not entirely convincing if you ask us. Perhaps now would be a good time to sprinkle that obligatory pinch of salt.
