Robotoki, founded by former Modern Warfare man Robert Bowling, have launched a Kickstarter campaign for The Adventures of Dash, a platformer starring a narcoleptic boy falling in and out of sleep.
The game features different dream worlds for Dash to conquer and the artstyle resembles something a child would draw in paces, but also changes with the dreams.
In response to "what makes Dash different?" Robotoki stated on the campaign page:
"The variety! Not only in the drastically different gameplay experiences you'll have from dream to dream, but also in the overall visual art style of each dream. What inspired me to create this game, was all the amazing 2D artists that I've met over the years, or became fans of online, and have fallen in love with their work."
The Adventures of Dash is being target for release on PC, Mac, Linux and Ouya, and one of the reward tiers is early access to Robotoki's Human Element project. So far 127 backers have contributed $4,614 of the $400,000 target with 29 days remaining.
