Once again we're getting a little heads up courtesy of a retailer leak. This time around the premature reveal comes via GameStop Germany and concerns Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's closed beta, specifically the month players can expect to get their hands on it.
As pointed out by Charlie Intel, the German retailer accidentally published the info and it was live for a few hours before someone realised their gaffe and it was deleted. The damage was done though and now we know the dates for Treyarch's beta test.
That being the case, and if this report is accurate, during the month of August there'll be a closed beta test reserved for those who have pre-ordered the game on PS4 and Xbox One. Meanwhile, at the same time, there's going to be an open beta on PC.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is scheduled to land on October 12 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One, and if you'd like to know more head in this direction.
